Jet Airways hits 5% UC

Jet Airways has soared up on news that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has registered a case against Naresh Goyal under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). It has been alleged and he and his wife have cheated Mumbai-based Akbar Travels of India to the tune of Rs 46 crore.
The complaint was lodged by none other than the CFO of the company, Rajendran Neruparambil.
The news is that the ED officials searched Goyal’s house yesterday and he was later even summoned to the ED office, where he was grilled for four hours.
The stock price of Jet, which opened slightly weaker at Rs.21, rose to hit the 5% UC at Rs.23.20.
