Jet Airways to say, "tata?"

Jet Airways currently figures among the top five gainers on the BSE, the stock price going up over 8% to Rs.233.90.

There is unconfirmed news doing the rounds that the Tata’s who already own majority stake in Vistara and AirAsia India are looking to buy stake in the currently beleaguered Jet Airways too.

Tata’s are apparently seeking complete or majority ownership and not part ownership as proposed by Goyal.

Currently, Naresh Goyal with wife Anita hold 51% stake with Etihad holding another 24%.

This is presently all hearsay news and there is no official word on this from either Jet or the Tata’s.
