JMC Projects rises over 12%

JMC projects had good news for the new year. It announced bagging new orders worth Rs.596 crore.

This incudes - Residential and Commercial projects in South India totalling Rs. 434 crore and Civil works for a steel plant in Orissa for Rs.162 crore.

Both are stated to be repeat orders.

JMC Projects (India) Limited (JMC), a subsidiary of Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited, is India's one ofthe leading contracting company.

The stock price has reacted positively to this news. With volumes surging over 7 times, the price rose over 12% to Rs.97.75. Its 52-week high is at Rs.142.
