Kalpataru 'Powers' up

Kalpataru Power is doing pretty well since morning, figuring among the top five gainers on the BSE. It opened over 2.5% higher at Rs.364 and went up further by almost 7.5% to hit an intraday high at Rs.382. Its 52-week high is at Rs495.95.
The stock price went up after the company secured new orders / notifications of award of Rs. 1,560 crore.
The details are as follows:
· Orders from India, Africa, CIS and South America in the power transmission business
· KPTL’s international subsidiary has secured new power transmission projects in Europe
The company had not ended Q2Fy22 on a good note – on a 14% (YoY) decline in total income at Rs.1618 crore, its net profit fell 77% to Rs.37 crore.
