KFA soars high, hits the roof

Kingfisher Airlines (KFA) is soaring high today, currently up 5% at Rs.4.72%, locked on the upper circuit. Volumes are huge at almost 26 lakh shares changing hands in the morning v/s around 10 lakh shares over past two weeks average.

The stock has hit the roof on news that the Mayaram committee has recommended 100% FDI in telecom and aviation while 74% in multi-brand retail. The ministers are expected to hold a meeting on the Mayaram report on 1st or 2nd of July.
