KPI Green is "on"

KPI Green announced yesterday after market hours that it has received a new order for executing Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Project of 4.20 MW (comprising of 4.20 MW Wind Turbine and 3 MWdc Solar) capacity from Nouveau Jewellery, Surat.

This comes under 'Captive Power Producer (CPP)' business segment of the company.

KPI did not divulge the financial details of this order.

The company also announced that it has inked power purchase agreements to supply a total of 15.88 MW wind-solar hybrid power from its projects to six companies. The companies will be supplied power from the upcoming Wind-Solar Hybrid power project (comprising 16.10MW wind and 10 MW, solar capacity) at Bhungar site in Bhavnagar district of Gujarat, under the Gujarat Hybrid Power Policy 2018.

The market is happy and the stock price is currently up almost 3.5% at Rs.902.65; it had hit a new high last week at Rs.962.
