LG Balakrishnan rolls high

LG Balakrishnan Bros is among the top five gainers on the BSE since the opening bell today morning. The stock, which had closed yesterday at Rs.352.50, went on to hit a new 52-week high at Rs.412. It has come off this high and is now trading at Rs.393 levels. Volumes are up over 6 times.
For Q4FY21, the company, on a 41% (YoY) jump in revenue from operations at Rs.499 crore, net profit came in at Rs.58 crore, up almost 4 times.
It is transmission segment which did the best – revenue was up 46%, contributing 80% to total income. EBIT was up 58%. Metal forming segment revenue rose 21% and EBIT was up almost 3.5 times.
The company has declared a dividend of Rs.10 per share for the year.
