LIC Hsg is top loser

LIC Housing Finance is currently the top loser on the BSE and over the past two sessions, has lost over 11.5%. Today, it opened with a loss of 2.7% and went down to an intraday low at Rs.361.30, a fall of almost 12.5%.

The market is not very happy that the process of its merger with IDBI Bank will get onto the fast track.

LIC is said to be looking at expediting this after IDBI Bank posted two consecutive quarters of profit.

This is just an unconfirmed report and the company is yet to give its official word on this.
