L&T rises over 3%

L&T has emerged as the lowest bidder for the Rs.3200-crore road bridge project.

This bridge is to be built over the mighty Brahmaputra river and once built, will be the longest road bridges – 18 kms, over a river in India, connecting Assam and Meghalaya.

The stock is making quiet waves on the BSE. It had closed at Rs.1059.10 on Friday ad today, it rose over 3% to hit an intraday high at Rs.1093. Its 10% UC for the day is at Rs.1165.
