Lupin gets clean chit

It’s a spate of good news for Lupin. Two days ago, the company’s unit 2 at Pithampur in Indore was cleared by Health Canada, giving it a 'Establishment License'.

And today, its Unit 1 at Pithampur got the clearance from the US FDA too.

The market is happy that its unit has received the clean chit. The stock price surged over 7% to Rs.842.45 immediately after the news broke and is now at Rs.816 levels, up some 4%.

Its 52-week high and low stands at Rs.1405 and Rs.727.05 respectively.
