MEP Infra rises on order receipt

MEP Infrastructure rose over 6.5% to Rs.102.90 and remains firmly in the green.
The market is happy with its order receipt. It stated today that it has won a contract for collection of toll at all entry points to Delhi.
This means that the company will now collect toll tax and environment compensation charge (ECC) at border points from specified commercial vehicles entering Delhi. This will be effective 1st Oct’17, for a period of 5 years.
The company has stated that the contractual amount for this project is Rs.1206 crore per annum, payable to South Delhi Municipal Corporation on a weekly basis.
