Metropolis not faring well

Metropolis Healthcare is not doing too well; yesterday it hit a new low at Rs.1481 and today too, it hit another new low at Rs.1443. It has recovered a bit but is still trading in the red at Rs.1473-levels.

There were reports over the last two days that the promoters of the healthcare services provider were planning to sell take in the company to a strategic investor.

The company clarified yesterday evening on the stock exchanges that its promoters have no intention to exit the business.

It clarified, saying, “MHL keeps receiving inbound interest from Financial Institutions and Companies part of the Healthcare eco-system for a potential minority stake purchase in MHL. We are conscious of our disclosure requirement, and we do not have anything concrete at this point of time to notify to stock exchanges.”
