M&M in price hike mode
Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M), which had closed yesterday at Rs.718.25, opened today at Rs.735 and rose to hit an intraday high at Rs.745.55. Its 52-week high is at Rs.764.10.
The market is happy with its decision to increase the price of its passenger vehicles (PVs) and commercial vehicles (CVs) from January 1, 2021.
The price hike, which will be on the account of an increase in commodity prices and various other input costs, will be applicable across all the PV and CV models.
Details of the price increase across different models will be communicated in due course.
Its different models – in passenger vehicles – Scorpio, Thar, Bolero, XUV300, XUV500, Marazzo, KUV100 NXT and the Alturas G4.
And in commercial vehicles - Treo Zor, Alfa Load, Jeeto, Supro Van, Supro Maxi Truck, Jayo, Furio, Blazo Haulage, Blazo Tipper, Cruzio and Cruzio Grande.
