Mrs.Bectors makes smashing debut

Mrs.Bectors Food Specialities got listed today on the BSE at Rs.501 v/s the IPO price of Rs.288, a huge premium of 74% and within minutes of listing, it jumped to its 20% UC of Rs.601.20.

The IPO had received a fantastic response getting subscribed 198 times. The lion’s share was taken by HNIs, whose portion was subscribed 620 times, QIBs at 177 times and retail investors at 30 times.

In our New Issue Analysis, we had concluded - Despite presence in multiple verticals displaying lack of focus and the unbranded business fetching lower multiples, pricing has left money on the table with a short term view. Over the medium term though, performance remains to be monitored post normalization of covid-tailwinds.
