Nath Bio-Genes touches 5% UC

Nath Bio-Genes is very much in the limelight for the past few days, touching its 5% UC consistently. Today too, it opened flat at Rs.272.40 and went on to touch the 5% UC of today at Rs.286.

The company gave us an update on the happenings during the pandemic:

1: It has received 92% of the targeted seed production from the fields. Balance 8%  is expected to be received by May 15th 2020. This is critical, as the Kharif sowing starts around mid June.

2: The company has been able to commence operations at all its six plants located in Maharashtra, Telangana and Maharashtra. Work relating to processing, packing and quality assurance is in full swing.

3: Its research stations across the country remained operational which is so crucial for its R&D and product development initiatives.

4: Because of total lockdown in the last week of March, the company has lost some sales and collection but is hopeful of recovering the same partially in April and May.

The company is engaged in the Business of of Production, Processing, and Marketing of Hybrid and GM Seeds. The company has a product range of Field crops, Vegetable crops and Plant Nutrient Supplements.
