NBCC hits new high

NBCC is attracting a lot of attention today after it announced its new order receipt.

The PSU said that it has got a Rs.1500 crore order from National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) to build warehouses and other agriculture infrastructure under the world's largest grain storage plan in cooperative sector at various locations in India.

NBCC would engage in project management and offer consultancy on EPC mode.

The company was recently in the news after it monetised 0.39msf space in WTC Delhi, fetching itself a handsome Rs.1560 crore – this was against a reserve price of Rs.37,161/sq.ft and what it received was Rs.43,161/sq.ft. Till date, it has monetised space worth Rs.8750 crore.

The stock price is deep in the green zone today; the stock which had closed yesterday at Rs.80.15, opened today morning at Rs.83.98 and went on to Rs.84.75, a new 52-week high.
