NTPC scales new high

NTPC is in the limelight today, opening 1% higher at Rs.127.75 and going on to hit a new 52-week high at Rs.133.45, with almost 14.5 lakh shares changing hands.
The company confirmed that it had won 1.9 GW solar projects under Central Public Sector Undertaking (CPSU) scheme.
The company also added that it has no material information to add to above mentioned news, which is in the normal course of business of the company.
