Procter & Gamble is the top gainer on the BSE since the opening bell today. The stock rose 11% to hit a new high at Rs.12,595, with volumes almost doubling. It continues to trade around 12351 levels currently.
The FMCG giant posted fantastic numbers for Q2, reporting a 84% (YoY) jump in net profit at Rs.251 crore. The company, follows the July-June fiscal.
Its net sales rose over 18.5% to Rs.1018 crore. This was driven mainly by a double-digit growth in feminine care and healthcare business.
It also declared an interim dividend of Rs 85 on every equity share of Rs 10 for FY 2020-2.
