Premier Explosives at 5% UC

Premier Explosives, which had closed on Friday at Rs.135.55, opened itself at its 5% UC of the day at Rs.142.30, where it currently remains frozen. Its 52-week high is at Rs.171.25.

Yesterday, the company received an order from Ministry of Defence, Government of India for procurement of 26 MM Chaffs.

These are to be delivered within six months from the effective date of contract.

The order is worth Rs.14 crore.

The company makes a wide range explosives and related accessories. The company's products include industrial explosives, detonators, detonating fuses, as well as special products such as pyrogen.
