Quick Heal in the limelight
Quick Heal Tech opened today morning with a rise of almost 2.5% at Rs.167.30 and went on to hit an intraday high at Rs.169.95, rising 4%.
The reason for this new found optimism on this counter is the news that it has received U.S. patent for anti-ransomware technology.
Post the patent approval, Quick Heal Technologies has become the first Indian company to indigenously develop and be awarded a patent for Anti-Ransomware technology.
This new product is powered by Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, wherein the technology detects and blocks known and unknown ransomware on a real-time basis.
The Anti-Ransomware technology is available in all the consumer and enterprise endpoint security products offered under Quick Heal and Seqrite brands.
Quick Heal Technologies has recently been ramping up its core competency in product innovation with the launch of several cutting-edge security offerings. It has launched its next-generation ‘Lighter Smarter Faster’ suite (comprising industry-leading features such as Total Ransomware Protection, Tally Backup, Portable File Vault, Webcam Protection, Safe Banking, and Web Security), offering the maximum protection with minimal resource consumption.
Seqrite, the enterprise arm of Quick Heal Technologies, has also launched a proprietary, AI-led threat hunting engine – GoDeep.AI – to proactively hunt down existing and emerging threats to provide best in-class digital security to its customers.
