Rail Vikas toots away!
Rail Vikas Nigam today went up almost 6% to an intraday high at Rs.73.28 on the back of robust volumes. Its 52-week high stands at Rs.84.15.
The stock price rose after the PSU announced receipt of three orders.
First is win by its consortium of Tracks & Towers Infratech and Rail Vikas Nigam who have received the letter of award from NHAI for the construction of a six-lane greenfield Varanasi-Ranchi-Kolkata highway for Rs 1,2712 crore.
It has also received a letter of award from NHAI for the construction of a six-lane elevated Kona Expressway and this order is worth Rs.721 crore.
Third, it has receives a letter of award from the Railways for the manufacturing and maintenance of 120 Vande Bharat trainsets at a cost of Rs 120 crore per trainset.
