RBL Bank makes news
RBL Bank, which had closed yesterday at Rs.206.35, opened around 2% higher today at Rs.210 and went on to hit an intraday high at Rs.213.30. Its 10% UC for the day is at Rs.226.95.
The Bank yesterday published its Q4 and FY21 operational metrics and the numbers were very encouraging.
Its total deposits for Q4 rose to Rs.73,123 crore, up 26% (YoY) and 9% sequentially while Retail LCR deposits rose 43% (YoY) and 11% (QoQ) at Rs.27,203 crore.
Its CASA ratio for the quarter was at 31.8% v/s 29.6% (YoY) and 31.1% (YoY).
Liquidity Coverage Ratio was at 154% v/s 155% (YoY) and 164% (QoQ).
Gross advances rose 2% to Rs 60,012 crore as on 31 March 2020 while retail advances grew 14% (YoY) and 6% (QoQ), with the mix of retail:wholesale advances at around 59:41.
