Rolta India jumps on new order

Rolta India is on a roll! The stock has jumped up over 15% at Rs.88.60 with volumes surging over 15 times.

The company announced today morning that it has been awarded a new contract by UK Power Networks, a major utility company that delivers electricity to London, the South East and the East of England. This 7 year, multi-million pound contract was established to manage and update their spatially-enabled network asset information.

Rolta was recently selected for the Geospatial World Leadership Award in the category of ‘Geospatial Solutions Company of the Year 2015.’ The award recognizes Rolta’s contribution to the global geospatial industry.
