Sanofi India in good health

Sanofi India is the top gainer currently on the BSE, recording volumes of almost 20 times with stock price soaring 14% to Rs.4785.
The company posted a very good set of numbers for its third quarter ended 30th Sept 2017 (year ending 31st Dec). On a 5% (YoY) rise in revenue at Rs.667 crore, it posted a 50% jump in net profit at Rs.12 crore.
Operating profit also showed a healthy rise of 32% at Rs.161 crore while margins rose from 19.12% to 24.11%.
A 40% jump in other income at Rs.21 crore and a 2% drop in total expenses is what helped.
The company’s equity stands at Rs.23 crore and annualized EPS is at Rs.67 (FV of Rs.10).
The company has ended 9MCY17 with a net profit at Rs.250 crore while it had ended 2016 with a net profit at Rs.308 crore.
