SEPC lights up

Shriram EPC, which is now known as SEPC is in the green today, briefly going close to its 5% UC of the day.

The market is happy with its announcement that its bid has been accepted by Drinking Water and Sanitation Department of Government of Jharkhand for a contract price of Rs. 430 crore.

The work entails construction of intake well with gangway 257.00 meters long, RCC riser for rising main, Elevated Service Reservoir, sump site development, approach road, supplying and installation of VT & Centrifugal pump motor, Staff quarters, House connection on turnkey basis.

The work has to be completed in 27 calendar months from the date of agreement excluding three months of trial run and thereafter 5 years of operation and maintenance.

The stock, which had closed yesterday at Rs.19.36, opened today morning at Rs.19.84 and rose to Rs.20, just a tad away from the UC of the day at Rs.20.32. Its 52-week high is at Rs.26.
