Shakti Pumps up 6.5%

Shakti Pumps rose 6.5% today morning to Rs.464.35 after it reported receipt of getting unpaid dues from the Uganda Govt.

The company said that it has received the $1 million left unpaid from EXIM Bank on behalf of the Uganda government.

This comes on the back of its announcement 8 days ago wherein it had said that it has commenced operations in Uganda to supply solar-powered water pumping system.

With this, the company will be able to safe and sustainable water supply to half a million Ugandans across 20 rural districts.
