Solar Industries shines bright

Solar Industries rose 6% to Rs.1095.20 and remains firmly in the red. Its 52-week high is at Rs.1122 and low at Rs.621.05.
Contrary to what the name of the company might suggest, it is not into any form of solar energy; it is in fact a company making industrial explosives and initiating systems.
The stock price has surged on news that it has secured a huge order – Rs.1143 crore from Coal India. This is for supply of bulk explosives.
The company, giving details has stated that this is a running contract for supply of 3,75,412 MT bulk explosives to the subsidiaries of Coal India.
The contract is valid for two years.
