Sun Pharma hits new high

Sun Pharma, which had closed yesterday at Rs.779.65, opened higher today at Rs.785.20 and went on to hit a new high at Rs.809.95, with volumes going up over 2 times.

The stock price hit a high after it announced launch of a novel formulation in cough management - Chericof 12 in India.

Chericof 12, the first prescription cough syrup in India which gives relief for up to 12 hours, is manufactured using Polistirex technology for sustained release of the drug and is approved for patients of age group six years and above.
