Suzlon Energy has shown some signs of life today. The stock is up over 3% at Rs.6.65, its current intra day high point. Volumes though remain muted at around 6 lakh shares.

The stock is up today after it announced that its subsidiary at UK won four turbine contracts of 58 MW capacity for supply at new wind farms at Clashindarroch in Aberdeenshire, Scotland; Eye Airfield in Suffolk in the South East of Engliand; Hampole in Yorkshire and Westnewton located in Cumbria. Though no financial details were divulged, the market was happy with the mere win of the orders. This comes closely on the heels of the order it had secured last week -   supply of 24 wind turbines in France.
