Suzlon gets 'energized'

Suzlon Energy today rose over 4.25% to hit an intraday high at Rs.8.57 and I currently trading at 3.5% higher at Rs.8.50. Its 52-week high is at Rs.12.19.

The stock price surged after the company announced that it has received an order from Vibrant Energy for 33 wind turbine generators (WTGs), featuring its new 3 MW series with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower for a 99 MW wind power project.

This is expected to be commissioned by FY25.

This order is from its new 3 MW series ? the S144?140m and is part of the agreement wherein Suzlon Energy will supply the wind turbines (equipment supply), provide erection and commissioning services, as well as comprehensive operations and maintenance services post?commissioning.
