Suzlon raises more wind
Suzlon Energy is doing well today morning, spurred on by informed investment buying and receipt of a new order.
The stock, which had closed yesterday at Rs.31.47, opened today morning at Rs.31.99 and rose to an intraday high at Rs.32.90, which is not too far from its 52-week high of Rs.34.10.
The company has received orders for 3 MW series turbines from Juniper Green Energy for the development of a 50.4 MW wind power project.
Suzlon will 16 wind turbines with rated capacity of 3.15 MW each and delivery is scheduled for 2025 at Dwarka in Gujarat.
This is the repeat order for the company’s largest turbine rated 3.15 MW, S144-140m from the 3 MW series. As part of the agreement, Suzlon will supply the wind turbines (equipment supply) and execute the project including, erection and commissioning. Suzlon will also provide comprehensive operations and maintenance services post? commissioning.
Financial details of the order have not been given by the company.
