Tata Power looking its ‘BEST’

Tata Power is the most rending stock on the social media currently. On the BSE, the stock is in the green, going up 3% to Rs.81.90. Its 52-week high is at Rs.101.75.

Bloombergquint has reported that the BEST, the unit which supplies power to Mumbai, is keen on extending its Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) agreement with Tata Power for another 5 years. This news is not confirmed by the company.

The company has confirmed though that it has received $155 million for its stake sale in one of the Indonesian coal mines and expects to receive $100 million dues from the residual sale.
