Tech Mahindra in limelight

Tech Mahindra is right there among the top five gainers on the BSE currently; from its close of Rs.1061.10, it opened higher today at Rs.1115 and rose further to Rs.1164.50, which is not too far from its 10% UC of the day at Rs.1167.20.

The market is celebrating the change in the top management - Mohit Joshi, President of Infosys, is all set to become their next CEO and Managing Director, effective from December 20.

On 11th March, Joshi resigned from Infosys after 22 years of service with the company.

The company said that this appointment is for a period of 5 years - from 20th December, 2023 to 19th December, 2028 (both days inclusive).

The current CEO, CP Gurnani will remain CEO and MD till 19th Dec but said that Joshi will join well before the date of his appointment as CEO and MD to allow for sufficient transition time.
