TVS hits a new high!

TVS Motor Company is on a roll! Looks like people are buying more of two-wheelers, not just in India but abroad too.

The company, for December’17 recorded a very good 39% increase in sales at 2,56,909 units from 184,944 units in December 2016. Total two-wheeler sales grew 38% to 2,47,630 units.

Its scooter sales rose 50.5% to 83,640 units; motorcycle sales rose 64% to 95,281 units while three wheeler sales rose by a very good 72% at 5393 units.

Exports registered a good 56% increase at 47,818 unit.

The market is thrilled with this performance of the company and the stock hit a new 52-week high today at Rs.794.90. Its market cap stands at over Rs.37,000 crore.
