Ujaas energized by new order
Ujaas Energy jumped up almost 7% at Rs.36.30, clocking volumes of over 3.5 lakh shares in the morning trades. Its 52-week high and low stands at Rs.52.25 and Rs.19.40 respectively.
The company was earlier making transformers for more than 30 years, after which it diversified into the generation of solar energy and launched a solar power turn-key project called „UJAAS? since 2010. It had ended Q3FY17 with a 114% (YoY) surge in net sales at Rs98 crore and net profit went on to rise by 266% at Rs.8.5 crore.
Today’s news is that it has received an order from Indraprastha Power Generation Co. (IPGSL) for implementation of grid connected rooftop solar photo voltaic (PV) system of 669 kilowatt peak (KWP) under capex model in selected GNCTD schools & schools & government buildings in Delhi.
