Unichem Labs smart gainer

Unichem Labs is among the top five gainers on the BSE since morning, opening over 3.5% higher at Rs.231.40 and going up over 15% to hit an intraday high at Rs.257. Its 20% UC for the day is at Rs.267.90.

The market is happy that it has received ANDA approval for its Aripiprazole Tablets from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA).

This will be marketed as a generic version of Abilify of Otsuka Pharmaceutical Company.

Aripiraprazole tablets are indicated for Schizophrenia and Irritability associated with Autistic Disorder.

The product will be commercialized from Unichem’s Ghaziabad plant.
