Urja Global hits 20% UC

Urja Global, which had closed yesterday at Rs.10.62, opened itself today 20% higher at Rs.12.74, hitting the UC of the day, second day in a row. This was on the back of a 2x jump in volumes. Its 52-week high is at Rs.14.78.

The stock has been hitting the UC ever since it announced signing a deal with Tesla Power USA to manufacture and supply various types of batteries.

Urja Global said that it will be Tesla’s manufacturer and battery supplier partner in India and will utilize the “Tesla Service centers" for the promotion of their EV Battery Service requirements in respect to E-2 Wheeler Batteries.
