VA Tech hits new high

VA Tech Wabag is in the big green zone today after it announced getting an order worth Rs.42o crore towards Design, Build and Operation (DBO) of a Water Treatment Plant (VVTP) with a capacity of 270 Million Litres per Day (MLD) at Jite, Raigad for City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra Limited (CIDCO).

This project has been planned in order to cater to the future water demand for Navi Mumbai.

The plant must be commissioned within a period of 42 months from commencement and followed by Operation & Maintenance (O&M) for a period of 15 years.

The stock, which had closed yesterday at Rs.479.65, opened higher today at Rs.486.05 and went on to hit a new 52-week high at Rs.503.20.
