VA Tech up on order flows

VA Tech Wabag, just a little before noon today announced receipt of multiple orders worth over Rs.760 crore in India, Switzerland and Singapore.

1:  ADB funded Water Supply System in Bhagalpur, India  - worth Rs.278 crore.

The project will be executed over a period of 31 months and includes operation and maintenance for 10 years. The project will be funded by Asian Development Bank.

2: 178 MLD Drinking Water Treatment plant in Coimbatore, India – worth Rs.94 crore.

The project will be executed over a period of 24 months and includes operation and maintenance for 10 years.

3: In Switzerland, WABAG will build the 103 MLD Saint Sulpice II — Drinking Water Treatment Plant at Geneva Lake, making it one of the biggest advanced technology based drinking water treatment facility in Switzerland and the biggest order in value terms for the WABAG Switzerland organization.

WABAG's scope in the contract is 24 Million Swiss Francs.

4: Two orders in Singapore worth a total of 22 million Singapore dollar.

The stock price has reacted very positively to this news. It rose from its opening of Rs.216.35 to an intraday high at Rs.223.40 and is currently at Rs.222 levels. Its 20% UC for today is at Rs.257.20.
