Valiant Comm hits a new high
Valiant Communications manufactures and supplies its telecom products and solutions, with a successful installed base in over 100 countries. The stock price hit a new high today at Rs.88 and currently remains over 15% up at Rs.86 levels. The two-week average volume on the counter is around 50,000 shares and today it has already clocked 1.3 lakh shares.
The stock is reacting positively to the news that it has received a Rs.8 crore order from Power Grid, for supply and installation of Communications Equipment Package, at West Bengal and Jharkhand SEBs.
And looks like good tidings are coming in during this month. On 10th Nov, it received LoIs to supply products to projects of Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company, Tamil Nadu Transmission Corp and Bihar State Power Transmission Company. The value of these orders was at Rs.2 crore.
The company had ended Q2FY16 with a net profit of Rs.8 lakh and for H1FY16, it was a turnaround with a net profit of Rs.54 lakh v/s loss of Rs.32 lakh (YoY). Its market cap is less than Rs.100 crore.
