Vesuvius India has been among the top five gainers on the BSE since the opening bell. The stock opened 4% higher at Rs.1020, going up to an intraday high at Rs.1096.45. Its 52-week high is at Rs.1362.
The company, engaged in the business of manufacturing, trading and sale of a range of refractories posted a good set of earnings for Q4Fy22.
The company posted a 25% (YoY) jump in net profit at Rs.312 crore and it ended the quarter with a 46% rise in net profit at Rs.24 crore.
EBITDA was up 38% at Rs.39 crore.
The company completed acquisition of freehold land in Vizag for future business expansions for Rs.48.50 crore.
