V-Mart Retail hit a new high today at Rs.972.40, going up almost 5% and since then, it has come off the high but remains in the green at Rs.950 levels, up around 2.5%.

The company announced today morning that it has opened a new store in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The store is fashion stores.

With this the tally of Uttar Pradesh is 17 composite & 44 fashion stores. This takes the total number of stores to143 Stores in 122 Cities across 14 states, with 37 Composite Stores & 106 Fashion Stores with a total area of approx. 12.10 lakhs sq. ft.

This hyper market retail format store company has done well in Q3FY17 with a 81% (YoY) rise in net profit at Rs.27 crore on a 23% increase in net sales at Rs.326 crore.
