VRL Logistics
VRL Logistics is pre dominantly a parcel delivery service provider (68.28 % of total Revenue as of FY 17), with pan –India last mile connectivity through a fleet of 3941 owned Goods transport vehicles complimented by third party hired vehicles on need basis.
The stock is the top loser on the BSE currently, going down 8% to an intra day low at Rs.308.05. Its 52-week low stands at Rs.244.70.
The disappointment is huge over its Q4FY17 performance. It has been downhill on all profitability front. Despite a 7% (YoY) rise in revenue at Rs.443 crore, its net profit showed a timble down of 29% at Rs.8 crore.
EBITDA too slipped 14% at Rs.42 crore and margins show the real pressure – down from 11.7% to 9.4%.
The company ended Fy17 too on a lower note – revenue was up 5% at rs.1803 crore but net profit was down 33% at Rs.70 crore. PAT margin almost halved – down from 6.02% to 3.89%.
Its net debt as at 31st March 2017 stands at Rs.174 crore v/s Rs.245 crore in Fy16.
