Welspun Corp creates buzz

Welspun Corp has created some buzz on the Street today, thanks to the new order received, rising almost 4.5% at Rs.586. Its 52-week high is at Rs.625.

After announcing to days ago that in one month it has already received orders to the tune of Rs.872 crore from projects in India and USA, today it announced receipt of Letter of Award (LoA) worth Rs.611 crore for export of line pipes.

This order is for LSAW (longitudinal double submerge arc welding) pipes from Latin America and to be executed in FY25.
