Wipro rises almost 9%

Wipro rose almost 9% today at Rs.328, the moment it opened for trading. Its 52-week high is at Rs.334.75.
Looks like the going is good for IT companies right now. Wipro announced securing its biggest ever contract worth more than $1.5 billion over the next 10 years from Alight Solutions LLC, the former benefits administration and human-resources outsourcing business of Aon Plc.
The contract begins this year and every year, for the next ten years, Wipro is assured of at least $150 million in annual revenue.
Alight is a provider of benefits administration and cloud-based human resources and financial solutions. It has 12 global centres.
