Wonderla not wonderful

The Covid-19 has as such hit the airline and hotel industry pretty hard with people curbing all pleasure travel. And over the past few days, most stocks in both these sectors have been on the downward spiral.

In the same vein, Wonderla Holidays stated yesterday that in view of the emerging situation in the State of Kerala, consequent to the reported Corona Virus cases, the company has decided to temporarily close the Kochi Park from 11th March to 20th March, 2020.

The stock has been hitting new lows consistently, ever since the virus started spreading. On Friday, it had hit a new 52-week low at Rs.195 and today, it hit another new low at Rs.190.85.

For stocks in this sector, the going will be tough and even after the virus spread abates, it might take a while for people to actually start going on a holiday.
