Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEEL) rose over 3% to Rs.533.70 and this was on the back of a very good performance for Q1FY19.

The company reported a 31% (YoY) jump in net profit at Rs.326 crore on a 17% rise in revenue at Rs.1772 crore.

ZEEL’s EBITDA rose 17% at Rs.566 crore. There was only a marginal increase in the margins from 31.4% to 31.9%.

The revenue was driven mainly by advertisement, which rose 22% and domestic subscription revenue rose 12%.
