Zen Tech slips 20%

Zen Technologies is the top loser on the BSE since the opening bell today; from its close of Rs.1349.15, it opened at Rs.1111.30 and went down further to Rs.1079.35, hitting its 20% LC.

The market is pretty disappointed with its Q3FY25 performance, mainly on the order intake front. Its consolidated revenue from operations rose 53% (YoY) to Rs.152 crore. And the company said that it was confident of meeting its revenue guidance of Rs.900 crore for FY25. This is dependent on the ability to successfully bid for orders and their timely execution.

Its consolidated EBITDA for the quarter was at Rs.66 crore, up 42% while PAT came in at Rs.40 crore, up 30%.

The disappointment is on the order intake front – the company bagged new orders worth just Rs.1.69 crore in Q3. As on October 1, 2024, the company's order book was Rs 996 crore and the company executed orders worth Rs 141.52 crore in Q3FY25. As on December 31, 2024, its total order book stood at Rs 817 crore.
