Zensar Tech spurts over 7%
Zensar Technologies rose almost 7.5% to Rs.968.25 in the morning trades and even now, remains firmly in the green at Rs.942 levels. Its 52-week high is at Rs.1000.
The spurt in the stock price is on account of the receipt of a new order. This is a 4-year, multi-million dollar contract from the City of San Diego for network services.
The job order can be extended for two additional two-year terms with the total not to exceed $79 million.
Under this contract, Zensar would need to maintain and improve San Diego’s network while providing better service. It has proposed a Network Managed Services solution that will improve end-user experience through a seamlessly integrated delivery model.
The company has stated that a major part of its tea will work out of San Diego while others would be located at Zensar's Network Operating Center in Dallas, Texas, where San Diego's current Data Center is also located.
